NTC's building trades, automotive, and healthcare training programs utilize technology in the classroom and in the field. NTC will have several targeted displays as well as information and access to educational opportunities in technology.
Bemidji VEX Robotics Club
We will have our robots and playfield on exhibit for our students and spectators to drive. Students will also talk with attendees about our program and what opportunities it provides.
Northern Minnesota Robotics Conference
Northern Minnesota Robotics Conference is an organization advocating STEM education through High School competitive robotics. Several area schools will demonstrate robots students built under strict constraints to play this years game, Reefscape. Also included could be demonstrations of FIRST LEGO League for elementary/middle school students and Unified Robotics for students of all abilities. Space is requested would allow for a full demonstration of this years game.
Northland Community & Technical College / NCAT
Northland & NCAT will be able to bring a few different items depending on space & staffing. Options would be partial aerial drone field with CoDrones, a few laptops to demonstrate basic coding of the drones, flight simulators on a laptop, Spintronic games to learn basic electricity, VR goggles with simulated training program, and Riveting.
Paul Bunyan Amatuer Radio Club
Amatuer Radio technologies, including HF, UHF/VHF communication, APRS packet data/location tracking, worldwide digital communication over RF, LoRa mesh networks, and other RF technologies
